Help others while helping yourself

We are currently running the following research studies to help us learn more about how Single Session Interventions (SSIs) could help young people in the UK.

For young people who want to improve their sleep.

We co-designed these interventions in partnership with the LAMP young people’s advisory group (YPAG) and young adult consultants (YAC). We are funded by the National Institute for Health and care Research (NIHR).

You can find out more and take part right now, without talking to anyone. All these studies are fully online, and you can complete them by yourself anywhere you want, and on any device that connects to the internet.

How do our studies work?

Our SSI is a digital self-help and self-education program. You’ll respond to questions and complete exercises designed to improve your thinking, and practice self-compassion.

It takes 30 minutes, it’s free, there’s no waiting list and you don’t have to speak to anyone. Find out more about SSIs.

Project Sleep

Project Sleep is for young people who want to improve their sleep.

It is an SSI that we developed in partnership with psychologists at Rutgers University, the University of Sussex, the University of East Anglia and the Lab for Scalable Mental Health. Project sleep teaches young people about how sleep and mental health link, and scientific ways to improve sleep. Young people aged 13-25 in the UK and USA can take part. If you take part, you will be asked to complete some questionnaires about yourself, your sleep habits, and mood.

Our Project Sleep study has been approved by the Rutgers University Institutional Review Board (USA) and by the University of Bath (UK) Research Ethics Committee approval ref 0959-9659.
